Numonics offers over 750 lesson plans through our partners RM Easiteach and Encyclopedia Britannica. You can also access links to websites offering free lesson plans and ideas through your software Resource Files folder.
If you received RM Easiteach with your product, you'll get 32 lessons for grades K-7 when you install the software. Launch your RM Easiteach software and go to File/Open/Starter Pack. RM also has over 250 free lesson plans for grade K-7, available for download from their website at http://www.easiteach.com/visitors/examples/users/lessonlist.htm. The Britannica Ultimate Reference Suite DVD has over 200 lesson plans and activities for each library - K-5 and 6-9 - covering Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Look in either the Elementary or Student Library under Homework Helpdesk - Games and Activities. Download the Britannica Resources Teacher Tip sheet for more information.
The Elementary Library contains:
- Language Arts Activities are stories that include a quiz and printable worksheets for students to complete
- Math Activities are interactive shockwave files, some with printable worksheets
- Exercises are interactive flash games
The Student Library contains:
- Student Guides include lessons, activities, resources and Teachers notes
- Activities are shockwave files that include a lesson plan overview, activity sheets, and quizzes
- Web Activities are printable questionnaires for students to complete based on specific web research
- Encyclopedia Activities are questionnaires based on specific Encyclopedia articles
The Resource Files installed with your software are sorted by subject area and include over 450 useful links to websites that contain lesson plans and lesson planning tools. You can find these on your hard drive at C Drive - Program Files - <ProductName> - Lesson Plan Resources - Resource Files.
